Spring4th Consulting, a minority- and woman- owned business consultancy, is leading the charge to help Black business owners and other leaders to capitalize on the rewarding business opportunities available in the new “Sustainable” economy.

Spring4th works with Black business owners and managers, entrepreneurs, nonprofit and community organization leaders to replace their organizations’ existing business practices, operations and even individual job roles with environmentally and socially responsible practices, processes and roles.

To accomplish this revolutionary paradigm shift, Spring4th launched Green & Black.

Green & Black is more than an initiative, it’s a movement! It’s a movement away from wasteful lifestyles and business practices and toward responsible, rewarding and sustainable ways of living, thinking and working. The goal of this movement is to ensure that Black business owners and other leaders, and the communities in which they live and serve, are well-positioned and prepared to not only benefit from the lucrative business opportunities and lifestyle benefits that result from such changes, but also to take leadership positions in the new “Sustainable” economy–to ensure that there will not be a “Green Divide” to match our digital, employment, educational achievement and wealth accumulation divides.

Beyond the direct rewards of our services, we hope to achieve the following:

  • Greater awareness of sustainability issues within the Black community
  • Securing a greater share of funds earmarked for green and socially responsible business, education, training and employment for Black-owned businesses and organizations
  • A pool of energized and empowered Black leaders ready to take on leadership roles in corporate social responsibility, green and environmental business, not-for-profit and social enterprises
  • Attracting a greater number of green, socially responsible and other business concerns to Black communities
  • Improving the lives and livelihoods of all people and our planet
